Ranchi, March 30: State Congress president Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu has lashed out at JVM chief Babulal Marandi for adopting "double standards" in their stance on likelihood of an alliance, promising that his Delhi visit on Monday would stop speculations while on an alternative government in Jharkhand.
Signing up for electoral ally JVM, Balmuchu said, "When he (Marandi) will be here in Jharkhand,
flip flop, he admits that his party goes single next Assembly polls. However when he goes to Delhi, he meets Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi. Nearly a week ahead of the budget session in Parliament ended, he met Rahulji in Delhi."
He argued when Marandi wanted his party to contest the next elections without treatment, he ought not meet senior leaders with the Congress. If Marandi desired to strike an alliance together with the Congress, he should clearly say so, Balmuchu added.
The state Congress chief is slated to visit Delhi and contact senior party leaders to obtain a final word on if they should select installing another coalition government in Jharkhand, remembering persistent efforts from the JMM after its withdrawal of support to the BJPled Arjun Munda regime.

"As the Congress's central leadership have not agreed or no on forming an alternative government, party workers are inside a fix here. This time around, I am going to revisit using a pros and cons in order that the workers might be told if they should get ready for the polls or otherwise," he said.
Balmuchu also reviewed the development of booth committees within the districts during a meeting he chaired today.
He noticed that booth committees have been already formed in around 80 % blocks over the state.
"The formation of the party's booth committees at the village level was the direction of Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi. So, Gurus the district presidents in order that booth committees were formed at the villages in their areas by March 30. For that district and block presidents who've not been performing,
cheap filp, I've given Ten days to work and hang the committees in place. Whenever they don't do so by April 10, they shall be replaced," Balmuchu said.
Hawaii Congress leadership including local MP Subodh Kant Sahay continues to be lobbying hard with the Centre for formation of an alternative government. However, the central leadership will not seem to be convinced.
In fact, senior leaders like P. Chidambaram even indicated during the budget session in Parliament that this Assembly elections were on the cards.
Balmuchu claimed that the formation from the booth committees shouldn't be viewed as area of the party's preparation for Assembly elections, because they were only being formed "with the direction of Rahul Gandhi".
